You can easily extend the standard functionality offered by the Lego Mindstorms
NXT kit base by the use of Lego Technic parts extra. A technical literature very

rovers, animals …). The Lego Mindstorms NXT kit contains basic instructions on
how to create within minutes one of the 4 robots as standard. The software

sensors allowing you to achieve your wildest dreams and make your robots smarter

The Lego Mindstorms NXT kit includes a graphical development environment called
Lego NXT-G and based on professional programming environment Labview (it works
on PC and Mac). This software does not require strong knowledge of programming
because the programming is done graphically using drag and drop blocks.
One of the strengths of Lego Mindstorms NXT is that several additional
programming environments (and often free) exist. Examples include LabView,
Microsoft Robotics Studio (based on Visual Studio allows you to create complex
programs in C #). Other programming environments like performing in Java or C
Lejos as RobotC exist.
