Description

Some of the first tests of Heriot-Watt University RobotSoc's semi-humanoid robot FRED doing visual servoing towards a ball and attempting to reach towards it. One camera on the head is used to track the ball and move to look directly at it, basic kinematic approximations are then used to estimate the position of the ball and reach towards it - everything you see here will be greatly improved soon!This robot was built for a very small budget in a student's bedroom...
